Calgary Expo 2017

So ends another annual Calgary Expo, with all its usual insanity and fun. It was fairly successful venture for Cookshaw Studios in many ways, primarily in experience and learning. A big part of the success I was feeling was due, in no small part; to the great support network and volunteers I had the pleasure of working with in that four days. In no particular order my brother Kent Cookshaw, Rhsy Cookshaw my nephew, the booth babe Jeffrey Thom, the real booth babe Zoe Bahnmiller, Taryle Grimshire for her great photos, and my brother Kel for his support. And another thanks to the various friends and family that showed up to say hey and pick up a copy. A special shout out (because I didn’t get a chance last year) to John Hutchings who volunteered countless hours to get the website up and running which will serve as a hub of operations for myself and Alex Cookshaw, site admin and director of media sales. One last shout out to Richard Whinestock, who kept me in mind, waiting patiently for a year, only to show up in the first hour of the first day to be the first purchaser of issue two of Tacternicus Chronicles. Thank you for that kind sir. You all fuel the inferno.

So for obvious reasons, I am exhausted. A brief rest then and onward to the next adventures. I know what they are, but you will have to stay tuned to find out aha….
